Everything was prepared fresh, hot, and seasoned perfectly. Everything about the food we ordered was spot on. Within five minutes, our food was hot and at the table, and delivered by staff I can only describe as genuine and hospitable. We found a wonderful seat outside under a very large back-lawn tent. Having been in this house many times for previous businesses, it was nice to see that the current ownership has done a great job renovating. We were handed an order number and encouraged to pick a seat wherever we would like. Black coffee for me and a latte for my wife. We requested an order of the Bo-nuts, Biscuits and gravy with kale, and the egg plate. On one of our frequent downtown Franklin walking afternoons, we passed the beautiful house on 3rd that has housed many different restaurants/businesses over the years, and were surprised to see that Biscuit Love has moved in! We visited around 11 AM on a Wednesday and were greeted immediately by James at the front counter! I’ve seen a lot of comments complaining about the process of ordering at the front and then finding a table, but we found it to be refreshing and nice to get the ordering out-of-the-way. My wife and I have both lived in Franklin 20 years and have been in search of a great breakfast/midday hang spot for years and years now.

Not sure that I will be back again when I am in the area, but it was worth a shot. Not really sure their number system is working for them (you order your food as soon as you walk in and then you are given a number to place on your table and they bring your food to you), one staff member brought my food and then took my number (even though I didn't have my coffee yet so of course I was asking where my coffee was once everyone else had their food) and one of my friend's food didn't come for a very long time and we had to ask for it. Really liked the coffee, sausage, and cheese grits. Food was good, biscuits were not what I expected but they still tasted good - I'm not a biscuit connoisseur so I am not one to judge here. I also had a caramel latte ($6) - great coffee! This was about $20 for breakfast which is a little steep, but I put the blame on the coffee.

I had the Egg Plate ($11) which was 2 Eggs (I asked for poached), cheese grits (very good), buttermilk biscuit, jam, and choice of bacon or sausage (I asked for the sausage - very good). Went here for breakfast with some friends on a Saturday around 10am and we might of had to wait for 10 minutes or so - not very long, allowed us time to look at the menu.
